Computer Vision and Remote Sensing (CVRS) Laboratory, Wuhan University, was founded by Prof. Jian Yao in April 2012. At present, our lab consists of 1 post-doctor, more than 20 PhD candidates and postgraduates, and more than a dozen undergraduates. Since launch, our lab has undertaken and participated in a series of national and provincial research projects, including 973 Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (General Program; Key Program; Major Program), the Science and Technology Support Program of Hubei Province, the Science and Technology Support Program of Jiangsu Province, Hubei Provincial Natural Science Funds Programs, etc. Besides, we have close cooperation with related companies, such as Tencent, Leador, Geoway, Jiangsu Zhitu, Hunan Bridge-Health, etc.

Our main research directions include: Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Pattern Recognition, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Big Data Analysis, Image and Video Processing and Analysis, Medical Image Processing and Analysis, Robot Vision Navigation and Positioning, Robotics, Multi-Sensor Integration, 3D Scene Modeling and Rendering, LiDAR Point Cloud Data Processing and Analysis, High-Performance Computing, Target Detection and Scene Interpretation in High Resolution Remote Sensing Images, etc. [More...]

We have a keen interest in collaborating with motivated researchers and related companies!

Welcome outstanding undergraduates and postgraduates to join our lab!
